St Annes Explorer Unit
As many of you know Fylde is setting up a fourth Unit to support the Scouts in the St Annes area of the District, lets welcome them with open arms and make them part of Fylde Explorers
County Camp 08
3 Units were at County Camp this year do numerous activities and dressing its daftly as normal. Photos can be seen here or on the right. If you have anymore let Coops know.
Half Marathon Water Station
Thank You to all that supported the water station, you have each been given a Marathon sports bag as a Thank You, Brian would also like us to go back next year.

Apex 2008 Overnight Challenge
4 Explorers teams competed against 43 other teams from the Country in this years Challenge. Pioneers we pipped to the post and came a respectable 2nd place. More information on the left.
St George's Day
Some went walking and some stayed camping on the weekend of St George's Day Parade. Thank You to all Explorer and Leaders that showed for the parade and Service
Phil Atherton
The District Explorer Team has been joined by a new Leader going by the name Phil Atherton. For the time being he has joined Trig at the Pioneers. Great to have him on board.
Senior Section Dinner Dance 2008

Phoenix Long Weekend Away
A fantastic 5 days and 4 nights were had by Phoenix ESU at the Wrekin campsite in Shropshire. Some pics here or on the left
Splash and Dash
Coops and Paul took part in the pairs competition of the Splash and Dash back in October. They managed 2nd by 20mins.
Some Fylde Explorers also supported the Fylde LSN team to a momentous win of the competition! Event report is here or via the link on the right
Trogz trip to Kandersteg.
The Trogz returned from their trip to Switzerland the their leaders gave a very imformative presentation back in September.
County Explorer Belt 2007
Bob, Jo and Ian have returned from the land of tulips, windmills and cloggs.
Congratualtions to them and the Fylde LSN members that gained their Awards.
Jamboree
The 6 have now returned from the largest event International Scouting has ever seen. The presentation at the District AGM was excellent. Don't forget Sweden in 2011.
Great Escape
A good experience was had by 6 teams from across the District in our new night navigation event. There are pictures here and we hope to do it again in 2008.
